The Maritime Testing and Training Center (MTTC) serves as a comprehensive center for enhancing the capabilities of Thailand’s maritime workforce. The Center provides both theoretical and practical training for professionals in maritime affairs, marine engineering, shipbuilding engineering, coastal engineering, and maritime transportation, supporting safety standards, professional competencies, and operational capabilities in accordance with international standards.

In addition, MTTC provides engineering testing services in shipbuilding and oceanography, including ship performance analysis, ship propeller testing, hydrodynamic experiments, and research and development of modern maritime technologies. The Center is equipped with advanced testing facilities and specialized research equipment, making it the first and only center of its kind in Thailand, including the Towing Tank, Wave Basin, Bridge Simulator, and Cavitation Tunnel, as well as equipment supporting the development of innovative maritime technologies. These facilities have received budgetary support from the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).

With its comprehensive capabilities in personnel, facilities, equipment, and knowledge, MTTC serves as an important national infrastructure for developing highly skilled personnel, promoting maritime research, engineering testing, and technological innovation. The Center aims to respond to the needs of the maritime and marine logistics industries in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and effectively enhance the capabilities of Thailand’s maritime workforce.
