คณะพาณิชยนาวีนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ วิทยาเขตศรีราชา นำนักเรียนจากโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน The International Academic Training Program with National Institute of Technology, Toyama College ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เข้าเยี่ยมชมและศึกษาดูงาน ณ ท่าเทียบเรือชุด D ท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง บริษัท ฮัทชิสัน พอร์ท ประเทศไทย จำกัด (Hutchison Ports Thailand: HPT)
เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้จากสถานประกอบการจริง และเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์ด้านการขนส่งทางทะเลและระบบโลจิสติกส์ระหว่างประเทศ
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นภายใต้กรอบ ความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคธุรกิจและสถาบันการศึกษา (MOA) ซึ่งมุ่งส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษากับภาคอุตสาหกรรม
และในช่วงบ่าย ได้เดินทางไปศึกษาดูงาน ณ สำนักงานควบคุมการจราจรและความปลอดภัยทางทะเล Sriracha VTS ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของสำนักงานควบคุมการจราจรและความปลอดภัยทางทะเล กรมเจ้าท่า และตั้งอยู่ ณ อาคารศูนย์ตรวจการชายฝั่งทะเล ท่าเรือแหลมฉบัง
การศึกษาดูงานครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้เรียนรู้การปฏิบัติงานจริง ในด้านต่าง ๆ อาทิ การจัดระเบียบและควบคุมการจราจรทางเรือ (Traffic Organization Service) เพื่อให้การเดินเรือในเขตควบคุมเป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและปลอดภัย รวมถึง การให้ข้อมูลข่าวสารเพื่อการเดินเรือ (Information Service) เพื่อสนับสนุนผู้ควบคุมเรือในการรับทราบข้อมูลที่จำเป็นต่อการเดินเรือ และการประสานงานเหตุฉุกเฉินและการกู้ภัยทางทะเล (Emergency Response & Maritime Safety and Security) โดยศูนย์ฯ ทำหน้าที่เป็นจุดรับแจ้งเหตุและประสานงานเมื่อเกิดเหตุฉุกเฉิน อุบัติเหตุ หรือสถานการณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความปลอดภัยและความมั่นคงทางทะเล
การศึกษาดูงานในครั้งนี้ยัง ช่วยเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้จากห้องเรียนสู่การปฏิบัติงานจริง และสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับระบบการจัดการท่าเรือ และการจราจรทางน้ำในประเทศไทย อันเป็นประสบการณ์ที่มีคุณค่าสำหรับนักเรียนแลกเปลี่ยน.
Exchange Students from National Institute of Technology, Toyama College Visit at Laem Chabang Port.

The Faculty of International Maritime Studies, Kasetsart University Sriracha Campus, led exchange students participating in the The International Academic Training Program with National Institute of Technology, Toyama College, Japan, on an educational visit to Terminal D at Laem Chabang Port, operated by Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT).
The visit provided the students with an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a real-world port operation environment and enhance their knowledge of maritime transportation and international logistics systems.
The visit was organized under the framework of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) which aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and practical experiences between educational institutions and the maritime and logistics industries.
In the afternoon, the exchange students visited the Sriracha Vessel Traffic Service (Sriracha VTS)
The educational visit provided the students with an opportunity to gain an experience of actual operations including Traffic Organization Service, which aims to ensure the efficient and safe movement of vessels within the controlled area, Information Service, which provides vessel operators with essential information to support safe navigation and Emergency Response, Maritime Safety and Security, under which the center serves as a point for receiving emergency reports and coordinating responses to maritime emergencies, accidents, and situations involving maritime safety and security.
The visit helped the student’s academic knowledge with real-world operational practices and enhanced their understanding of port management and vessel traffic management in Thailand. It also provided valuable experience for the exchange students in developing their knowledge and preparing for future careers.
