Kasetsart University, a leading institution specializing in agriculture, agro-industry, and environmental studies.For promoting this idea, Kasetsart University is excited to invite high school and university students to participate in an innovative competition KU CHIC (Kasetsart University – Creative Horizons in Innovation for Change), an international innovation challenge for high school and university students across Asia.
The main theme of the competition is “From Farm Fields to Gastronomic Feasts: Innovate for a Greener Planet.”
The activity will be divided into three rounds as follows ;
1. First Round: EGG (Ideation Phase)
– Participants must submit a 3-minute video clip (MP4 format, not larger than 20MB, with a minimum resolution of 720p) presenting their idea based on the main theme.
2.Second Round: INCUBATION (Development Phase)
– Online Pitching: Participants present their submitted concepts (maximum 5 minutes per group). Following this, there will be a Q&A session with the selection committee.
– The top two groups with the highest scores from each category will proceed to the final round.
3. Final Round: HATCH (Implementation Phase)
– The final presentations and awards ceremony will take place on-site.
เนื่องด้วยมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ กำหนดจัดการประกวดแนวคิดนวัตกรรมอาหารยั่งยืนเพื่อโลกสีเขียว KU CHIC (Kasetsart University – Creative Horizons in Innovation for Change) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “From Farm Fields to Gastronomic Feasts: Innovate for a Greener Planet.”
เพื่อส่งเสริมแนวคิดนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ขอเชิญชวนนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัย เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน โดยกิจกรรมจะแบ่งออกเป็น 3 รอบ ดังนี้
รอบที่ 1 รอบคัดเลือก ผู้สมัครจัดส่งคลิปวิดีโอเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ความยาวไม่เกิน 3 นาที (ส่งในรูปแบบออนไลน์)
รอบที่ 2 รอบนำเสนอและตอบคำถาม ผู้สมัครต้องนำเสนอแนวคิดของผลงานเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อให้คณะกรรมการพิจารณาความสร้างสรรค์และความเป็นไปได้ของผลงานที่นำเสนอ พร้อมตอบคำถาม (ในรูปแบบออนไลน์)
รอบที่ 3 รอบชิงชนะเลิศ ผู้เข้าประกวดต้องเดินทางมาเข้าร่วมการประกวด ณ สถานที่จริง โดยจัดขึ้นที่ สถานีวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ ภายในประเทศไทย
การประกวดนี้เปิดโอการให้นักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายและนิสิตนักศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาจากประเทศไทย และจากประเทศต่างๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ได้แสดงความรู้ความสามารถและทักษะในการสร้างสรรค์จากการนำหลักการด้าน Gastronomy เพื่อประยุกต์ใช่ในการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมอาหาร ที่มีส่วนในการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม
