
The Faculty of International Maritime Studies Dispatches Students to Participate in the Summer School of GREEN SHIP Program 2026 in the People’s Republic of China
On 30 May 2026, Ms. Chaowanee Suwannachote, International Affairs Officer of the Faculty of International Maritime Studies, accompanied and sent off 5 students who were selected to participate in the Summer School of GREEN SHIP Program at Harbin Engineering University, People’s Republic of China, from 1–15 June 2026.
The participating students are:
- Mr. Setthawut Raksawong, 2nd-year student, Marine Engineering Program
• Mr. Peerapat Pisutthikamon, 2nd-year student, Marine Engineering Program
• Ms. Siriv/ichaya Suprom, 2nd-year student, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Program
• Mr. Piyangkoon Unwieng, 2nd-year student, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Program
• Mr. Touch Saengchan, 2nd-year student, Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Program
The program aims to enhance students’ knowledge and practical experience in maritime engineering and green ship technology while fostering creativity, innovation, and cross-cultural understanding. Participants will engage in academic activities, cultural exchange programs, and local community experiences, providing valuable opportunities to broaden their global perspectives and develop international competencies.
Through participation in this summer exchange program, students will strengthen their academic and professional skills, expand their intercultural awareness, and build international networks. The experience will contribute to their preparation as future maritime professionals capable of competing in the global arena and supporting the sustainable development of the maritime industry.
